I watched a good bit of the speech live. It didn’t appear to be particularly URGENT to me. I thought it was a well presented speech - measured but enthusiastic.

I did too....I rather liked his presentation and delivery....less formal and Trump was enjoying giving it....he was comfortable. It was nice also seeing him interact with his peers.

Have to say over the last couple days I haven't seen the GOP members smiling so much nor so confident. I do think Trump has won over those who were uncertain how he would govern.....so he IS uniting the party I have no doubt.

As for the Dems....truly Pelosi and Shulmer, Durbin and the like , who have controlled for decades will NEVER give an inch if they think they can't come out smelling like a rose....they're STILL operating with outdated maneuvers and it shows.
