Every biased report of polar ice receding or thinning speaks only of Arctic Ice (presumably at the North Pole), with no mention of historic increases in Antarctica polar ice (at the South Pole). Why do you suppose that is?
That must be why Russia is building more and more icebreakers, some nuclear powered.
