Chris Wray is quietly cleaning up the FBI
New York Post ^ | Feburary 1,2017 | By Paul Sperry

Failing to get traction on their Russia “collusion” front, Sen. Mark Warner and other top Democratic inquisitors now suggest President Trump is obstructing justice by forcing a shake-up at FBI headquarters. But FBI sources tell me the pressure to clean house is also coming from inside the bureau, and it’s based on real concerns over malfeasance by top brass there.

In a healthy sign, new FBI Director Christopher Wray is slowly but surely sweeping partisan operatives out of the bureau’s executive suites all on his own. On the job just a few months, Wray told Congress in December he wanted to wait and see the evidence before taking any action against high-level investigators accused of bias and misconduct. Over the weekend, he saw some of that evidence, and it convinced him to remove his own deputy, Andrew McCabe.

“Wray is a smart, experienced attorney,” former assistant FBI Director Ron Hosko told me. “He’s not gonna fold to BS pressure with no facts, so he saw something solid, something from the agency’s inspector general, who has been investigating political conflicts and irregularities involving McCabe for more than a year.”

In fact, it’s doubtful there’d even be an internal inquiry if Democratic leaders hadn’t complained about the FBI reopening its probe into Hillary Clinton’s handling of State Department secrets on the eve of the election.

I DON’T WANT THEM TO *QUIETLY* ‘CLEAN UP’ THE FBI

I WANT ANY CRIMINALS PARADED AROUND TOWN IN HANDCUFFS

SO THAT OTHERS ARE DISCOURAGED

WHEN THE LAW ENFORCEMENT BREAKS THE LAW- WE NEED TO MAKE SURE THEY KNOW THEY WILL BE STUCK IN JAIL WITH A FULL SENTENCE IN GENERAL POPULATION.

It hasn’t looked that way to many of us but Wray is in an unenviable position as the FBI takes so many hits.. If he stays, and Trump doesn’t replace him I will take it as a sign he is performing a useful service.

Trump is a gift from God. His election will allow this great nation to get back on the track it needs to be on......if we are going to continue to be blessed.

I don’t think one guy can clean up the FBI.

This is government insider “we don’t air our dirty laundry in public” stuff. Wray didn’t want the memo to be released so that he could quietly give the crooks their golden handshake and send them packing. That’s not good enough for this situation.

All through 2017 McCabe has been under investigation for bias and misconduct, but recently Wray still balked at asking for his resignation.
And he’s “cleaning up the bureau”.

Ohkayyyy.
As Will Rogers said (paraphrasing): ‘I don’t tell jokes. I just read the papers and report the news.’

Correct. We need to send a message to the future generations, 100 years...that a rogue FBI will lead to arrest, incarceration, and firing squads. Nothing keeps the system as honest as appropriate and painful punishment.

I think the medieval punishment for what they did was hanging, drawing and quartering. It wasn’t quiet.

“It hasn’t looked that way to many of us but Wray is in an unenviable position as the FBI takes so many hits.”

That’s a very true statement. But you have to ask yourself for whom Wray is working, his boss (The President) or his employees, some of whom appear to be dirty cops. I for one am way past all this “coat holding.” The unvarnished truth needs to be out for all to evaluate, and for once, we, the people, need to actually see justice being served. Everything needs to be out in the open. No “FISA Trials,” where the guilty get “their day in court” behind closed doors.

The IG is investigating whether partisan bias influenced his decisions. His wife, a Democrat, ran for Virginia state office, and McCabe involved himself in her campaign, yet refused to recuse himself from the Clinton case until a week before the election. And he used official FBI email to conduct political business on his wife’s behalf.
*************************************************************

Notice how the words above leave out the $700,000 bribe to McCabe’s wife from Hillary et al.

This writer is trying to defend a man (Wray) who allows Mr. McCabe to have an office and continue to be on the taxpayer’s payroll when the man is a documentable and demonstrable crook for taking the 700k bribe. In and of itself he should have been fired 5 minutes later!

The quiet idea removes a lot of politics and allows the job to get done...less policy distraction from outside the agency

Time will tell - a handful of corruption-infested top dogs can give fleas to a lot of dogs with good hygiene habits...

Per Fox the memo is in process of being released and they have mentioned that it shows that w/o the Clinton-funded dossier, FISA warrants would have been impossible - waiting to see what shakes out.
