The remark you're attributing to me was not made by me; the italics indicate a comment made by another FReeper. Many FReepers who have been following this story closely are somewhat disappointed that the memo deals with an outline of FBI acts that have been more or less understood since December. Personally, I don't agree: What was outlined in the memo is but a mere outline but the evidence is such that many high officials in the DOJ and FBI are facing firing, disbarment and criminal prosecution.

And this is only the tip of the proverbial iceberg.

Sorry. I wasn’t really attributing it to you, but wanted to make sure we don’t throw cold water on what I think is a major expose. I agree with your assessment that ‘this is only the tip of the proverbial iceberg’. The arrogance that abounds in DC and in the media is just unconscionable, and more ethical people need to be in those positions - with term limits. Just think how close this was to never being found out. Further, they have no problem trying to ruin innocent men and women. There should be a significant amount of jail time for many of these people.
