I can think of one thing Congress should enact immediately. Lying to a federal agent should no longer be a prima facie crime by itself. If I lie to an NYPD detective that lie may be used to bolster the case against me for a specigic crime. But in itself, it is not a crime. The same should be true for the feds. Flynn would not be in jeopardy were it not for this abuse of police power legally given to the feds
You’re right. Speaking of Flynn, I think the whole investigation is tainted now. His case ought to be dismissed.
