The Democrats Are Out of Touch on Immigration

On Tuesday evening, in his first State of the Union address, President Trump defended the “American way” and offered a four-point plan on immigration.

Trump’s proposal “offers a path to citizenship for 1.8 million illegal immigrants who were brought here by their parents at a young age,” known as DREAMers; includes implementing his signature campaign promise to build a wall on America’s southern border, ending the visa lottery, and ending chain migration.

Trump unequivocally extended a hand of bipartisanship. But Democrats were furious over the president’s words, saying he has only made a bipartisan deal harder to reach.

Given the remarks of legislators interviewed after the State of the Union address, some appear to be fixated on words used in Trump’s speech and tonality, rather than on actions that could serve the interests of the American people and DREAMers they say they care so much about.

Senator Richard Blumenthal (D-CT) criticized Trump’s speech, saying, “The tone was of a divider-in-chief.” Senator Corey Booker (D-NJ) called the speech, “a lot of empty rhetoric,” adding that his words won’t “get him a deal from Democrats.” “Really stoking the fires, from my perspective, of bigotry," said Sen. Robert Menendez (D-NJ).

Senator Sherrod Brown (D-OH) felt Trump did not address the DREAMers issue enough: “He had opportunities to heal. I’ve never seen a president that cares nothing about reaching out to people that didn’t vote for him.”

Democrats had to make choice between 1.8 million dreamer or 20 million + pi**ed naturalized immigrant who want to bring whole village to USA through chain migration.
These 20 millions are very angry.

There’s another problem.
There are few patriotic Republicans.

We currently have just 4 Senators on the side of the citizens and the rule of law.
Cotton, Cruz, Grassley and Perdue.
That’s it.

Flake, Corker, Hatch, Heller, Alexander, Graham, McCain, Murkowsky, Hoeven, Rubio, Tillis, Burr, Lankford, Gardner, Cornyn, Cochran, Collins, Sasse, Kennedy, Shelby, Ernst, Blunt, McConnell, Wicker, Portman, Isakson, Johnson, Toomey, Rounds, Thune, Barasso and Enzi are all owned by the Cheap Labor Express.

After the Civil War, there was a huge migration from Europe and the net result was that unemployment was very high. One economist writing about it said “There was an entire generation of men who never had a permanent job”.

That is the price for uncontrolled immigration, we have been through it before and it is a well known effect.

Make that 1.8 mmillion Dreamers and an addiitional 4 million ‘chain migration’ family members, already in the pipeline, that would be allowed to enter. Will take about 10 years to get them all here. 6+ mmillion Dem voters on ready to go or on the way, ready to swing the entire country, starting with Texas, Arizona, Florida and Georgia. At that point, nothing the President promised during his campaign or tries to do, will matter.

Wall won’t start construction for another 5 years, if ever.

Probably going to happen anyway, since they wont’ take away the incentives for the 3rd world to come here anyway, Birthright Citizenship and the Bennies that go with it.

This is exactly right, and it is ALL THE RATS CARE ABOUT...which includes their total lack of care for our Republic and its people. Power and control....that’s all.

They have been working toward that since 1965.

By any means necessary. If it means putting American citizens out of work and losing everything they worked for, Demoncrats are all for it, if they get votes.

Gay marriage? LGBTQXYZ weirdos? Killing babies? It's all part of the Democrat Get-Votes-Any-Way-We-Can game.

Missouri has the solution. Old - but interesting.
__________________________________________________________
Missouri has no illegals; go figure... shouldn’t the other states do the same? Missouri’s approach to the problem of illegal immigration appears to be more advanced, sophisticated, strict and effective than anything to date in Arizona . Does the White House appreciate what Missouri has done? So, why doesn’t Missouri receive attention? Answer: There are no illegals in Missouri to demonstrate. (And the Media doesn’t want to publicize that fact!)

The “Show Me” state has again shown us how it should be done. There needs to be more publicity and exposure regarding what Missouri has done. Please pass this around.

In 2007, Missouri placed on the ballot a proposed constitutional amendment designating English as the official language of Missouri In November, 2008, nearly 90% voted in favor! Thus, English became the official language for ALL governmental activity in Missouri . No individual has the right to demand government services in a language OTHER than English.

In 2008, a measure was passed that required the Missouri Highway Patrol and other law enforcement officials to verify the immigration status of any person arrested, and inform federal authorities if the person is found to be in Missouri illegally. Missouri law enforcement officers receive specific training with respect to enforcement of federal immigration laws.

In Missouri, illegal immigrants do NOT have access to taxpayer benefits such as food stamps or health care through Missouri Health NET.

In 2009, a measure was passed that ensures Missouri ‘s public institutions of higher education do NOT award financial aid to individuals who are illegally in the United States .

In Missouri all post-secondary institutions of higher education are required to annually certify to the Missouri Dept. of Higher Education that they have NOT knowingly awarded financial aid to students who are unlawfully present in the United States .

It is important to remember, Missouri has been far more proactive in addressing this horrific problem. Missouri has made it clear that illegal immigrants are NOT WELCOME in the state and they will NOT receive public benefits at the expense of Missouri taxpayers.

DON’T DELETE THIS, AMERICA . KEEP IT GOING UNTIL WE GET ALL 50 STATES TO COMPLY!

Ted Kennedy, actually.
He pushed through an immigration bill that is the source of many of our present issues.

Not just about that.
Illegal aliens can serve Democrat purposes withing voting!
Illegals are counted for the purpose of allocating representatives and electors and creating congressional districts. IF they can’t be counted they are ‘imputed.’
This is even better for Democrats than slaves - slaves only counted 3/5s of a person for these purposes, but illegal aliens count as a whole person.
Just think of how many representatives and electors California would lose if illegal aliens did not count!

There is an article in the “New York Times” today about the Hempstead School District - the students are 70% Hispanic, 40% are not proficient in English, 70% are from families getting public assistance.

Many of these “dreamers” probably will be nightmares.

Perhaps a form of jury (of US real property/1040 taxpayers) should be part of the application process.
