You forget the Director of the FBI, Comey, was fired last year by Trump. Also, the Deputy Director of the FBI, McCabe has been recently fired by Director Wray.
Next up, the Deputy Director of the DOJ, Rosenstein. The dominoes are falling. Stand by for more revelations and more Deep State firings. Yes, I want them prosecuted, but just getting them out of power is a good start
As I've been saying, Trump is playing rope-a-dope to drain this particular Swamp. With more coming out over the next weeks/months and with the new Hillary investigations, I have hope.
Plus, it's been reported that some rank and file FBI are starting to whistle-blow. It's long been reported they were not happy with Comey's bogus investigation into Hillary's illegal server and transfer of classified docs. Exoneration before all players were interviewed; changing the wording from "gross negligence" to "extreme carelessness", and no "intent" found. Of course, we all know the word "intent" is not in the statute. As the old saying goes, "Ignorance of the law is no excuse". As if Hillary had ignorance about security procedures as SOS. She was read in and ignored their objections to her private server.
This is only going to get bigger and the Dims will lose in the mid-terms because of their arrogance and illegal activities.
I’m fairly certain — coming from the Senate and having names like Lindsey Graham on the cover page — that this memo will be a watered down, mamby-pamby version that essentially praises the organization and suggests some minor “cleanup”.

Chairman Grassley has it in for the FBI after they stonewalled and lied to him. Ranking minority member Feinstein has had her own feud with the FBI. Those two know enough about Linda to keep him honest, at least about this. Ted Cruz is on that committee too.
Since it has to get Wray’s and Rosenstein’s approval before being released, it’s likely to be a black page where we never get to see the contents.

I don’t know what the Senate rules are regarding release of classified info, but imagine the process is similar to that of the House.

I don’t like the trend I’m seeing — maybe incorrectly — that FBI, DOJ, etc., are setting up Steele as the fall guy, so they can come out of this looking like victims. Not likin’ it.

Right when this hit the fan in a major way — maybe three weeks ago — two Congressmen on the committee said it wasn’t Classified, and had no classified info in. Wonder why it kept going back and forth, when it started life as not Classified.
