For a party trying to float by on feminist hashtags and regain lost blue collar voters, a Kennedy seemed an odd choice to give the rebuttal to the State of the Union.
And that was before they put him in front of a wrecked car.
Yet, even though the speech was a farrago of platitudes given by a wholly undeserving trustfunder who appeared to be drooling and was attired like a freshman high school athlete dressing up for game day, this was a Kennedy, after all — which meant the media had to find something to praise him for.
And they did, in the line, “Build a wall and my generation will tear it down.”

I found it astonishing that the Dems thought he would be a good rebuttal speaker-——he was pathetic.

Kennedy’s speech was lame wasn’t it?
It was full of liberal pablum.
I think it’s funny, that Democrats decided to push this latest Kennedy cousin to enter politics, as some rising star.
The legend of Camelot and JFK has faded, or have Democrats not noticed??? We are supposed to shocked and awed at the sight of yet another toothy tousled haired Kennedy spewing forth liberalism????

This is the old Kennedy mansion in floriduh of course. It belonged to the oldest Kennedy Joe. The rum runner.
His speech wasn’t worth a bucket of drool...
He kept reading lines rapid-fire, then pausing. I had no video, but on the radio it was really distracting.
With a couple can’s of spray paint, that wall would say:
“Mr. Kennedy, tear down this wall.”
I’m drooling over that house. :-)
Oh, but I’ve read on DUmp and elsewhere that HE, not Trump, gave the speech of the evening!
But it’s good they trot out a Kennedy instead of finding someone who might actually deliver an articulate message. We can only hope they turn quickly to Chelsea who would drive the DNC even closer to obsolescence.

That’s not just a wall. That appears to be Berlin-wall-style, made of L-shaped pieces to resist battering attempts by large trucks.
His father, also Joe, gave something called a “speech” from the convention floor during one of the Clinton nominations. He wasn’t drooling but he could barely speak and what he said made no sense. The Kennedy “magic” has been gone for decades, but tell that to their sycophants in the “press”.

In the interest of being fully informed I started listening to Kennedy’s speech. But his appearance, “drool”, location, fake audience, the stupid car, (and more) started interfering with my quality of life so severely that the TV got turned off.
