I believe that when (if) Trump asked him that question, it was not for the purpose of firing him if he answered anything other than Trump.

It was because President Trump is very good at detecting a lie. No matter what Rosenstein answered, if it were a lie, Trump would have probably known it, and THAT would have created a serious block against Rosenstein.

One of two pictures firmly printed in my mind is her laughing with a Republican senator while they were on the 911 investigation committee. She should have been in the docket given her decisions erecting a wall between the justice department and the FBI. (Unless it involves a Republican off the reservation).

The other, by the way is of George W. Bush laughing with Hillary Clinton after his presidency.

The pictures proved the deep state existed and that it consisted of evil people.

Showing their bias and ignorance of the way the US Federal Government is set up. NO the DOJ and FBI are NOT outside the reach of the CEO of Article II. The DOJ and FBI are NOT independent agencies or branches of the US Fed Government and very much report to Article II and anyone within Article II can be dismissed by the CEO who will then face the political and media firestorm. Notwithstanding civil service rules, but we are talking about political appointees here.

I don’t think Trump understood what he was getting into when he took the path of office. You don’t ask them whose team they are on. They were appointed by Obama. That’s why it’s standard operating procedure to fire all of the prior administrations people on day one.

Jared and Ivanka have always supported Democrats in the past, so Gorelick was a completely logical choice for them.

As I recall, Jamie Gorelick resigned as Jared's lawyer after Jared became a person of interest in the Trump persecution.

Jared replaced Gorelick with another female Democrat lawyer who is also politically connected, but I can't recall her name.
