Hell I have 500+ rounds of 9mm in my car in case I have a spare hour and am near a range. As my legal instructor says it is a game. They write these laws to be hard to understand to nab law abiding people who are inadvertently breaking a stupid law. Like you can carry a weapon in Colorado on a horse, snow shoes, skis, atc BUT NOT A SNOWMOBILE. Does this Virginia law say anyone WITH a chp can have an AR with a 30 round magazine? Speaking of stupid just returned from MD, one of the most gun hating states in the union. Felt naked without my usual EDC.

If the police mirandized him and informed him of his 5th amendment right not to incriminate himself, how can they not assume that the 2nd, 1st and all the other amendments listed in the Bill of Rights dont apply to him as well?

Yup. There appear to be a lot of "conservatives" who don't understand that the rights listed in the 1st ten amendments to the Constitution are not granted by that document. They are yours by your virtue of being a human being. This has been fully adjudicated all the way to the supreme court.

Sadly, I live in Maryland and despise that fact that I cannot protect myself and the liberal twits around here can’t fathom why crime in Baltimore is completely out of control.

I just got my NRA rifle instructor credentials. I can certify residents of Virginia in gun safety to qualify for their CCW but can’t get one myself.

Yet, nearly everyone I know here owns a gun or several. I spent nearly the entire weekend at a local gun show and not one person got shot.
