Chaos roiled the Newsweek offices Monday with the firings of the editor-in-chief, his number two and three reporters — possibly in retaliation for their unfavorable coverage of the company.
Johnathan Davis, the co-founder/CEO of Newsweek Media Group, ordered the firing of top editor Bob Roe, his deputy Ken Li and reporters Celeste Katz and Josh Saul, as well as Josh Keefe, a reporter for the International Business Times, a sister company, a source said.

Actually, I recall folks saying this couldn’t be of national importance, the raid, because it was cops, not feds.
Wasn’t the owner under indictment or some such? But getting rid of the staff, sounds more like a chance they are being busted for dealing with leakers of classified intel?

“We have determined that there are millions of people out there who don’t even look at our reports because they can’t trust us.

Facts? In this day and age, no such thing. People just make it up and call it fact. Global warming for example, they just say it’s all facts... and they say it again and again until even sane people believe that in the last 100 yrs, man has created enough pollution to drastically affect the climate of earth. Carefully ignoring that massive changes in global climate are NORMAL and have violently raged earth since its creation!
