This whole stupid thing about inviting winning sports teams to the White House should end and end right now!

IMNSHO, the President who stops inviting these ingrates, and also stops insisting (at the publics behest) on going to disaster areas where security etal just interferes with the people who are trying to clean up the mess, also he who instigates ‘pardoning’ the Thanksgiving Turkey, will go down as the GREATEST PRESIDENT ever.
If you want to do something ‘positive’, start prosecuting those that are circumventing our law and being given a ‘pass’ because they are ‘public figures’.

These people get paid a king's ransom to do a job. The team, no matter which sport it may be, who wins the trophy/BIG win at the end, should see THAT as the prize! There is absolutely NO good reason to then "reward" them with a visit to the White House, which many, if not most, couldn't care less about anyway. WHAT'S THE POINT...JUST WHAT HAVE THEY REALLY DONE TO BETTER THIS NATION AND/OR HER POPULACE?
