It’s true. I lived in Reading, Berkshire for one year and it was a miserable time. I had to drive 1.5 hours just to get antibiotics for conjunctivitis because I wasn’t allowed to be seen at a local doctor’s office near where I worked. I missed an entire day of work for a 3 minute consultation and visit to the pharmacy. And that’s a very simple example.

If you are a U.S. citizen living in America, London is a greater threat to your freedom than Moscow. Yes, the UK is our ally. But the “special relationship” is nonsense.

Japan and Israel are far better friends to America than Great Britain. Don’t get me wrong, the UK is a fantastic country with wonderful people; but is a foreign country with its own interests that diverge from ours.

And, do we want to talk about “interference” in our elections? NBC News regularly has BBC staff participating in our political debate on NBC networks. And BBC broadcasts a nightly news program, chocked full of political opinion, on our nationwide taxpayer funded public television networks.

A close look at disinformation published by foreign governments in the U.S. reveals that the UK is the most prolific. Part of their agenda is gay marriage, gun control, government healthcare. That’s a UK agenda, NOT a Russian agenda.
