This text relates to Obama interfering wit the Hillary email investigation. It has NOTHING to do with the FISA warrant/Russia investigation.
It’s bad, but we need to all be clear on WHY it’s bad.
The FBI initiated a counterintelligence investigation against the Trump campaign in July 2016. Steele had begun sending parts of his dossier to the FBI in June 2016. Does anyone really believe that Obama was not aware of the ongoing investigation or that the FBI and/or DOJ were not providing him with regular briefings on it?
The Strzok-Page exchange indicates that Obama was actively engaged in all of it.
I’m sorry, but the date doesn’t work for the email investigation. It was already put to bed by Sept. 2, 2016. This text is either out of context and a nothingburger, or possibly about Trump. But not the email investigation. Right?
