Are we now going to rename "manhole covers" people-hole covers? The insanity of the perpetually offended will never end for eventually the euphemisms invented to replace "offensive" words eventually become offensive themselves and must be replaced yet again.
I'm old enough to remember when it became fashionable to call somebody "mentally retarded" as it was a nicer term than "idiot" or "feeble-minded" (which were actually how they were described in the past). Now it is fashionable to call them "challenged" or refer to them at having a "learning disability" instead. But in time, watch and see, those terms will also become offensive.
Deaf people used to be called dumb. Now it's "hearing impaired."
The most ridiculous euphemism I ever heard was "handi-capable" to describe disabled people (who used to be called "cripple").
I'm glad "handi-capable" never caught on. That was stupid. Oh, sorry, I meant to say "cranially challenged".

I was at a retreat recently and the chaplain led us in an opening worship that included this beautiful, creative interpretation of the Lord’s Prayer (found in its most traditional form here for those not familiar with it). This comes to us from the New Zealand Prayer Book.
THE INCLUSIVE LORD’s PRAYER
Eternal Spirit,
Earth-Maker, Pain-bearer, Life-giver
Source of all that is and all that shall be,
Father and Mother of us all,
Loving God who is in heaven:
The hallowing of your name echo through the universe!
The way of your justice be followed by people of the world!
Your heavenly will be done by all created beings!
Your commonwealth of peace and freedom sustain our hope and come on earth.
With bread we need for today, feed us.

Many of us who are old enough to remember when the use of the term “man” stood for hu-MAN. No “sex” (NOT “gender” (a grammatical term)) associated with it.
Many words have more than one meaning/application. Many people today must have never perused a dictionary.
The term/word “mankind” should not be offensive to ANYONE!
It is NOT sexist.

There is a reason Canada is the world’s biggest under achiever.
It would be Earthkind, I suspect, but then we’d be attacked for speaking for all the other creatures on Earth.
It’s a sign of his immaturity. Minimum age for PM, POTUS, Gov’s, etc. should be raised to 45.

Perhaps a new word could be coined for those infected with PC Madness: Idjitkind.
