My guess he’s doing this just to damage the Republican party. He could probably seriously run as a Democrat, though. Robert Byrd was a very successful senator and ex-KKK member.

So the local R party should make sure a conservative 3rd party candidate runs on whatever ticket, then endorse that candidate. Both will lose anyway, so no biggie.

Doesn't matter. This is IL-03.

If there were 5,000 registered voters in the district, the democrat would win by 7,000 votes.

Most unfortunate all the same. Has the party disavowed him as Louisiana did with Duke back in the day?

You see a lot of Libs going bonkers over this. This nut job is running in a district that no sane R would because an R has no chance of winning.

Would not be surprised if Soros funded him to do it.

Nazi is national socialism. Left is trying to infiltrate Republican party. Did Flake and McCain invite him?

There are at least 40 or 50 Rat party members that are actual communists or socialist, which by any other name is a Nazi. Nazis were the German Worker’s Socialist Party. I doubt this guy accused of being a Nazi is really a socialist. Where is the proof?

It was originally known as the 5th district which included the Chicago wards of 23rd,13th,12th and 11th and parts of the southwest suburbs surrounding Midway Airport.

Reagan carried the district and most of those wards both elections. Its congressman Dan Lipinski is the son of the previous congressman William O. Both are known for their conservative views and votes.

Despite commentary here by FR’s influenced by media who demonstrate their ignorance. The facts are that William O Lipinski who had been 23rd ward Democratic committeeman and subsequently Congressman Republicans were active and had managed to elect an Alderman and state representatives as well

When the district was remapped as the 3rd district the situation changed drastically. And is now taken in Democratic so called liberal areas in the suburbs. Most of those other wards beside the 23rd and 13th have been given to Gutierez largely because of the changes in “hispanic” numbers.

So Dan Lipinski is now facing a serious challenge which will require a heavy turnout which has been reinforced in focus because of the Jones candidacy in the two wards which doesn’t bode well for Ives the Republican challenger to Governor Rauner. In the March 20th Primary .
