He is attending a private AT&T leadership conference. He really needed that ten years ago. A guy that blathered about “leading from behind” surely cannot be a speaker at a leadership conference.

These are NOT leadership conferences. They are called that but they function the same way that lobbying does with the added bonus of letting their employees hob-nob with celebrities. In this case, it is with an empty suit that too many people voted for simply because they “liked” him. There are at least 2 issues there (why did they like him/why would you vote for someone solely because you liked them) but I’ll leave that for another time.
