CNN Jumps to Conclusions After Trump Wishes Rob Porter Well
Townhall.com ^ | February 9, 2018 | Cortney O'Brien

President Trump offered his well wishes to his now former staff secretary Rob Porter following his resignation in the wake of domestic violence allegations from his two ex-wives. Trump commended his "hard work" while he served in the White House and said he hopes he was a wonderful career ahead of him.

He also reminded the press that Porter has said he's innocent.

Aware of the president's remarks, CNN jumped to the following conclusion during its breaking news report.

quite the CNN chyron right now pic.twitter.com/08pG0D4wpJ— Oliver Darcy (@oliverdarcy) February 9, 2018

It's unclear whether it was mentioned in this Wolf Blitzer segment that the White House has expressed its shock over the "serious" and "disturbing" Porter allegations. It's unclear what exactly White House Chief of Staff John Kelly knew in terms of the severity of the allegations, but he did note "there is no place for domestic violence in our society."

CNN loves throwing shade at the Trump administration with its editorialized chyrons. In the past year, the network has shared its biased opinions on everything from Russian collusion, to how many scoops of ice cream the president eats.

"Trump: I Don’t Support WikiLeaks (He Loved it in 2016)," one of the chyrons read. Last month, when White House Counselor Kellyanne Conway insisted that no one in the administration is obsessing over Hillary Clinton, CNN shot back with the following subtitle.

The network's anti-Trump, pro-Hillary agenda led to a public scolding by Conway live on air last year.

"I love CNN but you've got to be honest here," she told Jake Tapper. "The lower thirds, what's always on the chyron, the panelists, the so-called experts constantly saying, 'She can't lose. The race is over.'"

Trump did the right thing. Let it go, for crying out loud! Porter’e personal life is not Trump’s to explore, explain, or take sides.

And WHO did you support in the election of 2016? just wondering.

Obviously it wasn’t DONALD J. TRUMP...

The Media have destroyed Rob Porter life for sure, but their goal was to get rid of John Kelly and destroy the PRESIDENT...
IT JUST WON’T WORK...STOP DESTROYING PEOPLE’S PRIVATE LIVES, WHY DIDN’T THESE TWO WIVES BRING THEIR ‘FAIRY TALES’ TO THE MEDIA YEARS AGO???? and yes I call them Fairy Tales, because it is ‘she said, and then another she said’ PROVE IT and that photo doesn’t prove jack sh** to me, that could have occurred from a lot of incidents, like drunk and running into a door!!! what ever..this B.S. needs to stop.

“Didn’t seem to be a very big deal before this guy started work in the White House. Now all of a sudden three women have found their voice. Until then, they didn’t seem to think it was a big enough deal to speak out about. Now I’m wondering why not.”

Probably a case of “follow the money”.

What I don’t get is why he was working in the White House before his background investigation had been completed. If proper protocol had been followed, and exes had reported this, he wouldn’t have been in that position. There would be no story.

“d WHO did you support in the election of 2016? just wondering.

You’re clearly an uninformed moron. It wouldn’t take much of a search of my posts to determine who I supported since before he even officially announced his candidacy, and ever since..

You’re a loud mouth as well. Lose the caps lock and try to get someone to take you seriously.

That’s a reasoned point.

Of course if the women had remained silent until know, a background check wouldn’t have found this.

You may know more facts about the case than I do, so this may not be a good response.

Too funny! Did you not listen and comprehend the totality of his comments - in no way did he “defend a wife abuser”....

LISTENED .....to the enemy (NPR) yesterday talking about security clearances etc as to the length of time it takes and how it is processed , yada yada yada and they discussed how the top level clearances like TS-Yankee White (to work with / around POTUS) it is intensive as I personally know as I held such among others during career in DOD and later in DOE.

Then in next news story the NPR presstitutes went head hunting on this guy Porter and his alleged poor entourage of abused ladies . Made me doubt with the timing and “me too ass whuppin bandwagon” and the number of accusers and stories are valid.

Background investigators for mine, interviewed / spoke directly to my girlfriends, my ex-wife , co-workers, neighbors, colleges, family .....everyone of them had the chance to tell the investigators that I was a wife beating, psychopathic autodidact polymath bed wetter drunk if they wanted to multiple times in those interviews.

Porters accusers were surely interviewed on record as he’s been holding the TS clearance for at least a year in Trumps administration. Nothing, nada zip zilch from them till now ........ hmmmmm.

Seems to be a crew of blacklisters buying and organizing bad blood backgrounds..... then sharing them with DNC polidiots and they’re Socialist Presstitute handlers..

But hopes that they won't stand in the way of Porter's long and glorious career apparently.

I think this is great.

I have not heard a word about Porter or his story.

That tells me that the conservative media where I get my information, is blocking it out just as the left media block out our noteworthy news items. I’m pleased.

A setting Dem Senator Tom Caper admits in a 1998 interview to hitting his wife yet there has been no outcry from the media and liberals it only matters if you are a republican like Porter connected to trump democrats get a pass. They dems want to get Kelly out so they can go back to getting leaks from the WH and the never trump people who still work their. Kelly is one of the best nomination trump has made. Unlike Wray,Sessions and Tillerson.

Liberal main stream Media becomes more worthless every day..as does the cable liberal News outlets as well..CNN is terrible...the other night a spokesperson said Obama, and as soon as that name came out of his mouth, The Lemon went off the wall....telling spokesperson..".we don't use Republican talking points here", and he didn't let the dude even explain what he was going to say..

The Lemon was wired tight as a gum band..(I'm sure using that ‘word’ tell y'all my age!!)
