David Kernell, best known for hacking into Sarah Palin's personal Yahoo account during the 2008 presidential campaign, has died from complications of multiple sclerosis. After being sentenced to a year in prison he got his life back on track, by most accounts.
Kernell, 30, was a student at the University of Tennessee 10 years ago when he successfully guessed Palin's security answers, which allowed him to change the password and get access to the Yahoo account, the Memphis Commercial Appeal reported while confirming his death last week in California through family members.

I saw this story here yesterday. I was ashamed of many Freepers then just as I am now.
They were rejoicing that a young man died of a miserable disease. ASSHOLES.
My son is in the hospital right now with an incurable disease. He is 34. I have some relatives who are as far left as one can get. But they contact me constantly telling me they have done group prayers with anyone they can, they have shown more support and compassion than anyone.
Some people need to step back and think before they type stupid stuff.

Right on the money, and in more ways than one. Not only was Palin’s response to this person’s death really classy, recall what was found in those tens of thousands of breached emails - exactly zilch, despite the lefties recruiting volunteers to pick through each and every one. Now contrast that to what we’ve found in the Strzok emails - slime, with more coming out every day, And then contrast that to what we would have found in Hilary’s emails, if those hadn’t been bleached-bitted.
Was he a democrat? That’s all I need to know.

that was back in the day when the dems and their media lapdogs approved or, and praised email hacking. This guy posted Palin’s family pictures, and the email addresses of her kids, and the dems and media saw nothing wrong with that.
I agree. He was a 19 yr old kid. They don’t always make the best decisions.
He paid for his crime. His suffering is over and I hope he is at peace.
Agreed. It’s a terrible end to a sad story.

DAVID KERNELL: “Well, I broke into someone’s computer by guessing their password. This person was really important, and there were a lot of people who wanted information about her and her family!”
ST PETER: “Um...really? Was she a bad and evil person?” What did she do that was bad?
DAVID KERNELL: “Sure, they all said she was bad and evil, and I hated her too. She wanted to stop abortion of babies which we all thought was weird, because she should have aborted her baby with Down’s syndrome, and she also wanted to get corporations to drill for more oil. Plus, she was a conservative and hated homosexuals.”
ST PETER: “A politician? That’s it. Hmmm. Well, er...was she a lawyer?”
DAVID KERNELL: “No...”
ST PETER: “Okay then. That might have helped your cause just a bit. I like to do what I can, but it’s not really worth it. David, back up just a little bit. Over to the left...good. (fiddles with something on his console) David...did you ever see the commercial I made with Snickers where the guy waiting in line to see me starts to loudly complain?”
DAVID KERNELL: “No, er, I don’t...AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhh...”

In regards to the family not disclosing the real cause:
I have MS, and yes it can be fatal.
He more than likely had the more severe type, Primary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis.
I know of another fellow in his 20’s whose degeneration was
rapid and he was bedridden shortly after diagnosis and died within
a few years..
And then there’s a type of Sudden Death from MS, and if an MS lesion is in your
brainstem (medulla most often), you can die suddenly if the lesion that flares is one that affects your autonomic functions, breathing, blood pressure, heart rate.
Some people need to step back and think before they type stupid stuff.
