Thanks Nextrush. I recognize Middle East is complicated but I am rather tiring of the Russia-bot infestation on FR. This is “Free” “Republic” two things of which Putin’s Russia is NOT.
And as a Christian who lived in Russia, my biggest pet peeve of all is when people try to make Putin out to be some hero of the faith. *gag*
Thankfully his geopolitical gambles are unravelling. Other than Crimea (which I’d say is securely his.) He messed up big in the Middle East. And the gamechanger isn’t even Syria, but Iran. The protests and impending regime fall in Iran would be a big mess-up to plan.
