Grassley-Graham Memo Affirms Nunes Memo — Media Yawns
National Review ^ | 2/10/2018 | Andrew McCarthy

Posted on 02/10/2018 4:49:48 AM PST by Rumierules

We need a full-blown investigation of how the FISA court came to grant warrants to spy on Carter Page.

In a word, the Grassley-Graham memo is shocking. Yet, the press barely notices. Rest assured: If a Republican administration had used unverifiable hearsay from a patently suspect agent of the Republican presidential candidate to gull the FISA court into granting a warrant to spy on an associate of the Democratic nominee’s campaign, it would be covered as the greatest political scandal in a half-century. *** We need full disclosure — the warrants, the applications, the court proceedings. No more games.

While some progress is being made, the sad fact remains that the MSM is still the primary source (or, in many cases like this, the lack thereof) of information for the masses.

And the left knows it.

Paper trails exist for all the wrong doing. The MSM can yawn and ignore, but transcripts will still be released. They will look foolish in the long run, for being a part of a cover-up for political reasons. CNN is hardly reporting any news. CNN is just reading Democrat Party talking points. Since they have been reading the talking points all along, how do they report news they have been lying for years and years? It is turning yourself in for a crime.

My hope is that after the IG report comes out the real investigators come out armed with subpoenas and Grand Jurys and Andy and DeGenova on the prosecution team.

Read Andrew C. McCarthy’s piece today; it’s the most up to date, and utterly damning.

“Grassley-Graham Memo Affirms Nunes Memo — Media Yawns”

http://www.nationalreview.com/article/456287/grassley-graham-memo-affirms-nunes-memo-fisa-steele-dossier

The end:

Still, the FBI and Justice Department elected not to tell the FISA court that the Clinton campaign was paying for Steele’s unverified, unverifiable anti-Trump research.

I spent many months assuring people that nothing like this could ever happen — that the FBI and Justice Department would not countenance the provision to the FISA court of uncorroborated allegations of heinous misconduct. When Trump enthusiasts accused them of rigging the process, I countered that they probably had not even used the Steele dossier. If the Justice Department had used it in writing a FISA warrant application, I insisted that the FBI would independently verify any important facts presented to the court, make any disclosures that ought in fairness be made so the judge could evaluate the credibility of the sources, and compellingly demonstrate probable cause before alleging that an American was a foreign agent.

I was wrong.

In assuming that the (highly touted, non-partisan) DoJ and its FBI minions were all on the up and up, mostly, Andy now finds:

“I was wrong.”

LOLOLOL....

Bongino, last night on Levin, was laying out how many ways the Deep State were very actively trying to entrap Trump & Co.

They still likely are.

The Coup is far from over.

The media isn’t yawning, it’s trying to swallow the info and there’s a lot of paper to chew....

CNN is just reading Democrat Party talking points.

The CNN mockingbird network has become an accessory to the crimes.

“AG Sessions must have been promoted to Trump by the other RINOs, who we need to be replaced by true conservatives in their next election.”

You mean like ALL the Republicans in the US Senate? We have eight seats up in the Seate in November. They ALL need to be replaced. They have sullied the Senate with their openly blocking the Trump agenda for their “bankrolling masters.” And look what’s happening: Hatch resigns, will be replaced by Romney, a a benign old fool replaced by a vicious Trump-hating Mormon bastard. Jeff Flake, another useless Mormon, is likely to be replaced by Martha McSally, another useless RINO rather than Dr. Kelli Ward. Also we have “The Senate’s own Dwarf,” Bobby Corker. Have no idea what the voters of Tennessee will give us as a replacement. Then we have Bara$$o, Fischer, Wicker who will be returned by their idiot voters for another six years. And of course, the Nevada Mormon, Dean Heller will probably loose to a RAT.
Then there’s the target-rich environment of some 27 odd RATS up for re-election, and what are we hearing about a GOP program to target any of them, nothing!
I just wished that there were a way to replace the Republican Party with a group of legislators with ethics and moral principles, who are not already bought and paid for by the “money boys” like the Cock Brothers.

Judges have been known to throw tantrums and lock people up for having been played the fool with false statements. Why hasn’t that tantrum happened? Why isn’t there an FBI agent out on the FISA court steps giving a press conference after the arraignment of the DoJ lawyer who obtained this warrant using fraudulent material?

CNN is addicted to reading word for word Democrat Talking Points. It is a lazy way to run a so called news network. Maybe they are helping the Democrat Party raise money, by opposing Republican policies.

“AG Sessions must have been promoted to Trump by the other RINOs...”

That’s generally how it works. After all a president-elect might know a few quality people to put in his cabinet, but there are a lot of positions to fill. So you rely on the recommendations of party leaders. It’s often like spinning the roulette wheel.

Sessions and Christie endorsed Trump before Super Tuesday, 2016. Sessions the first senator endorsing Trump.

Christie was rewarded by heading the transition team, and might have got a Cabinet job had he not been such a self-centered putz. Sessions, a Tea Party darling, was rewarded with the AG job, which he probably asked for.

Andy, finally.....redeems himself somewhat with that statement. But he’s been obtuse to the point of ridicule this past year.

Andy has been fantastic about this issue......you can rail on French and Goldberg all you want but McCarthy has been very good....

I like Andy & know him somewhat from back in the day. I know he’s had a difficult time in accepting that the DOJ/FBI has fallen this far. Nice to see him with us.
