It was shovel-ready bullshit. I saw road crews sitting around in trucks while repair equipment was tearing out and rebuilding shoulders and embankments that didn’t need repairing. Billions wasted to give people the warm and fuzzies. Liberals can burn in Hell.

The only thing the taxpayers saw from Obozo’s $890 BILLION Fake Stimulus was those goofy gay Obozo rainbow signs on some fences declaring these were his shovel-ready projects. Someone should catalog how much was really spent on these projects and how much went to Leftist/Green companies that quickly went belly up. Where did the money go?
If these Morons can’t find $200,000,000,000 of Fraud, Appropriation Manipulation and Duplicate Job Functions in the $4,000,000,000,000 Federal Budget, they probably can’t find their A-holes with two Hands and a Maglite.
When I was Corporate Vice President, I was responsible for a $20,000,000 (plus) Budget Expense Line and I was expected to find at least a Million Dollars in savings every year without impacting our Operational Quality.
A Million saved gave me a ‘satisfactory” Review at best. I had to exceed it in order to get a Raise.
If I didn’t hit the Goal, I wouldn’t be around the next year to give it another shot. I would have been gone...
Back in the day, there was some Pubbie senator or congresscritter of some sort who was trying to keep track of that boondoggle, but I don’t know whatever came of it. Not sure if he’s still in office or not. Regardless, the lamestream media wouldn’t have touched it with a ten foot pole, no matter how much smoke and fire there was to it.
I’d like to know where Obama’s billion dollars for infrastructure went. We need receipts. It’s so frustrating that the GOP’s not yelling about this.
We ALL would love to see spending cut. The problem is in the details.
If we cut spending 5% across the board we would save billions. But 5% of what? Medicare? Social Security? And no, you cannot point to a trust fund or social contract as we are discussing the real world.
You see, if we don’t cut everything the next few rate increases will cut them for us.
We are boxed into a corner. And even the most clever planners are going to get us out of it. We need to make drastic changes. And soon. And a lot of people will die.
Apparently some was spent. I did not see any work that could be labeled as “stimulus.” I suspected he diverted the money elsewhere - maybe his off shore bank account.
