I wish we knew what happened to Beck... he may have political opinions that differ but he threw his entire business under the bus

Beck was good when the Blaze first started but he started sniffing glue or something. I think he started thinking he was Ghandi or MLK. He then decided to “Take the High Road” even if it led him off a cliff, and it invariably did, because most high roads end in a cliff ledge and

“you never take the high road when the enemy is blowing up bridges!”

This Daily Beast story is more about the Texas Wilks family than about either Beck or Shapiro.

Short story is that the Wilks, Beck and Shapiro were each big Cruz supporters and they own the Daily Wire that Shapiro runs, as well as the Blaze. They first wanted Breitbart but not the Mercer daughter that came along with making an offer.

The whole bunch, altogether, were invested and supportive of Cruz. Personally, I hope they are not all still pushing for a Ted Cruz empire.

So one never Trumper is going to take over another never Trumper.

Wake me when something groundbreaking occurs.

“TheBlaze welcomed us to the space as allies from the beginning, and we’re always looking for ways to strengthen our partnerships with our allies,” he (Ben Shapiro) said.

If you check out the 2016 election coverage on The Blaze and The Daily Wire you'll see how closely aligned they are. They were covering one another's coverage as they went from condescending chuckles about Trump's impending defeat to full on mourning and rationalizations for his victory. The last half hour is glorious.

The thing is, if two #nevertrump networks merge, who will care?

I still do not like Shapiro, Beck or Cruz. Those 3 couldn’t win dog catcher.

Glenn Beck was on his way to being somebody, then he went nuts.

Glenn Beck made two huge mistakes:

1) He spent ridiculous amounts of money (granted he was make lots of money when he started to spend like crazy).

2) He refused to be reasonable about Trump. That alienated many, many people.

I actually like reading Shapiro’s website. I like it a Hell of a lot better than Hotair these days. If his posts over the past five or six months are any indication, he isn’t a “Never Trumper” anymore.
