They can't vote in Presidential Elections?

I'm feeling alittle better if it's true!

Can anyone confirm? But who's going to stop them from voting? FL doesn't have voter id?

Puerto Ricans cant vote in a presidential election

Yes; but since they already have US citizenship, the ones that have relocated to Florida since the hurricane will now have US citizenship and a Florida residence, hence there is nothing (to my knowledge) keeping them from registering to vote as US citizens living in Florida.

That’s not even close to the truth.

1. All Puerto Ricans are U.S. citizens
2. If U.S. citizens live in 50 states, they can vote in the federal election
3. If U.S. citizens move to PR, they lose the ability to vote in the federal election (you and me included)
4. But - you don’t pay federal tax in Puerto Rico.
