It also demonstrates that the S400s weren’t being fired as these attacks commenced. They have kept a close hold on them.
It would be nasty, but if those start getting unleashed, they have a range that includes every inch of Israeli airspace.
I would think the call is more along “you’ve made your point. But soon S400s may as well be fired if you’ve decided to take them all out”.
They were put there to keep anyone from attacking the Syrian army via the air. So if the attacks don’t stop, it could get even worse over there.
Israel would kick Russia’s azz so bad it wouldn’t be funny.
They have no ability to project force into Israel without getting their azzes handed to them badly.
Russia is a has been. They can take the useless ICBMs and shove them, as far as Israel is concerned.
BTW, Israel can take the S400s out if they so choose.
That would be a big mistake.
This issues ignores the real culprit: Iran.
The Russians need to tell them to pack it up and get out.
If they don’t, then the Russians show de facto support for Iranian attacks on Israel, and Israel has a right to defend themselves.
The whole thing could have a peaceful outcome IF Putin and Assad tell the Iranians to leave.
Any other outcome is either war on Israel by Iran or war by Israel on Iran.
