One clue was his congressional testimony that [bill priestap] fibber director of counter intell told comey to withold information from cong oversight

Comey got busted big time on that question. Even if Priestap gave him that advice, it seems to me he would have needed to clear it with his bosses at DOJ or even higher. If Comey didn't seek approval, it seems to me it is just another grounds for dismissal.

14 Feb: Daily Caller: Luke Rosiak: EXCLUSIVE: DOJ Official Bruce Ohr Hid Wife’s Fusion GPS Payments From Ethics Officials
•Justice Department official Bruce Ohr did not disclose Fusion GPS was paying his wife
•Ohr was demoted from his post after the information emerged
•Willfully falsifying government ethics documents can result in jail time
Bruce Ohr, the Department of Justice official who brought opposition research on President Donald Trump to the FBI, did not disclose that Fusion GPS, which performed that research at the Democratic National Committee’s behest, was paying his wife, and did not obtain a conflict of interest waiver from his superiors at the Justice Department, documents obtained by The Daily Caller News Foundation show...

Tom Fitton, president of Judicial Watch, a conservative legal group that has been critical of the department’s handling of the Trump investigation, said, “This document ought to trigger an immediate criminal investigation if one isn’t already ongoing.”...
Bruce Ohr did not return a request for comment, nor did the DOJ.

" Would it be better if AG Sesdions held daily pressers on the status of each of the multiple criminal investigations in progress, including the RICO investigation of the Clinton Foundation going on in upstate New York? That way, the AG could defend himself to us Freepers and give the perps plenty of notice as to his next moves.

Or DOJ could conduct a quiet, methodical batch of parallel investigations without compromising future convictions by so prejudicing JQP that defense lawyers will be able to argue that their clients can’t get a fair trial due to the pretrial publicity."

False choice, and I've seen others make similar arguements. It's not either/or, and we all know it.

We just want to see some blatent indication that justice will be done, by Sessions. The easy and obvious one would be to take the fact that Comey gave classified info in his memos to his buddy to ia GJ, Indict him, arrest him. That would do it for me, anyway. Then I'd think Sessions is maybe OK.

Until we see something like that, I, for one, call my congress critters daily with the same message: Sessions needs to go, and we need a Special Counsel. NOW!

Comey’s memos are secret because he and his publisher of his book coming out in April....

So... is it better to let things play out until after the book is released so that there is even more of a record of what Comey said? Or it better to let him work on this book for months and months with the cabal of thugs surrounding him... but then things heat up so much in the weeks just before the book is supposed to be released, that it is apparent to even the far left that everything is says is fraud? Perhaps things could be arranged that he is indicted on the same day the book is scheduled to be released.....

If they’re classified and everyone - including Comey himself - agrees that he leaked them, why hasn’t he been charged? Are we gonna hear that “no responsible prosecutor” bullshit again?

The President fired Comey — how is that “obstruction” of anything?

He got replaced.

Maybe Ohr and/or others have turned and are providing investigators information. I think there are several of them out there willing to make a deal.

Pretty sweet deal and still collecting a paycheck? Ohr might have a reason to cooperate. He is ~60 and likely elible for a pension and wants to keep it..
