Uhhh, we may have a problem here.

Is the Truth safe to handle? We must decide how to handle the Truth.

We've never had a request like this before?

That the information is classified is not the issue. The relevant committees have the requisite clearances.

I lay a lot of this opposition to the news media and of course the democratic party.

It used to be that members of Congress were members before anything else.

Then the news started going after Republican members by always citing their party, especially if the member had been accused or identified as something salacious or criminal. So we got stories like, “Nunes, the REPUBLICAN Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee” rather than just “Nunes, the Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee”.

The media NEVER identifies someone as a democrat when they want to push the narrative against someone. NEVER.

So Judge Collyer can write this off as a partisan witch hunt because “Devin Nunes, the REPUBLICAN chairman of the House Intelligence Committee” demanded it.

The country will never recover from this unless we get the media to drop its bias and stop with all the fake news.

But they are shameless in their ends justifies the means news coverage. The most important role of the journalist in today’s liberal media is NOT to inform the public about what happened, but rather push the narrative that Conservatism is evil and Leftists are good.

“Who, what, when, where and how” are no longer taught in modern journalism. Promoting the NARRATIVE is the new purpose.

Straight out of the Communist Manifesto.

Because Trey Gowdy has already seen the FISA warrant application that the DOJ has, the committee should follow the judge’s lead and request that DOJ release it.

Then, Gowdy can determine if the DOJ has changed it since he first examined it. According to his previous comments, he knows that the 4 page memo accurately reflects the contention that the contents of the application relied primarily on the dossier.

Then, in my opinion, the DOJ copy of the application should be publicly released. Simultaneously, the committee chair should ask the DOJ to arrest the perps. LOL!

While he’s at it, Nunes should also write a new letter to Collyer, copying CJ Roberts and President Trump, asking her to require the judge who approved the surveillance to appear before the committee to answer questions before he asks the DOJ to arrest him as well.

OK, OK, I know I’m indulging in a bit or two of fantasy. SIGH.

This is more proof that Roberts is being blackmailed because he feloniously adopted two children from Ireland where you must be a citizen to adopt. This is easily researched by a quick Google of Roberts’ adoptions.

At the end of “The Star Chamber”, Michael Douglas ends up sitting in a car outside the meeting , recording every word being said.

Congress too often forgets that the courts are not self-created. They did not create themselves, nor are they Creations of the Constitution other than the Supreme Court. They are all created by Congress and none more specifically a Congressional creation than the FISA court. As such they are just as subject to Congressional oversight, and transparency with Congress, as are the executive branch agencies Congress created. If Congress was REALLY doing its duty it would have used its political authority long ago and impeached numerous judges throughout U.S. history.

You say - well the Constitution did not define “bad behavior” (though some say there are “understandings” of what it once meant) - which means that term can, politically, be left to Congress when it comes to its judging of judges. Like it or not, it is only Congress constant abdication of its own powers that has made the executive and judiciary dominant over it.

It’s not our government anymore, maybe it never was. We are good for paying taxes and greasing their war machine, brainwashing us using the media into thinking they are doing it in our best interest.

Look at the fact that illegal aliens are more important than US citizens, in keeping Americans down and begging for crumbs, does anyone need further proof?
