One point that I didn't hear anyone mention yesterday is that NONE of the indictments had anything to do with the hacking of the DNC, which the government claimed to have solid evidence for more than a year ago, and which was ostensibly the main impetus for the investigation.

If the government claimed to have irrefutable evidence a year ago, why hasn't an additional year of investigation led to any indictments relating to the hacking?

The indictment also makes us wonder what the Obama Administration was doing amid all of this. Where were top Obama spooks James Clapper and John Brennan ? Their outrage became public only after their candidate lost the election. If they didn’t know what was going on, why not? And if they did, why didn’t they let Americans in on the secret? President Obama sanctioned Russia for its meddling only after the election.

Under what laws are they charging them?

• Is it a crime for foreign individuals, organizations or governments to run advertisements in US media concerning political matters or politicians, or candidates?
• Is it a crime to set up organizations that are deceptive about origins, like "Tennessee GOP" was allegedly used by the Russians. I don't like that they did that, but is that a crime?
• Is it a crime to create fake people on social media?

The indictments are nothing more than a cover story for the coup d’état. The people indicted will never be tried. They are safely in Russia out of the reach of U.S. prosecutors. The deep state will never have to produce proof of the accusations in court subject to examination by a legal defense that has a right to discovery. A sleazy prosecutor can indict a ham sandwich.

The claim that Russia interfered in the election was falling apart. Worse, the claim that the Trump campaign colluded with Russia was being destroyed because the only evidence of collusion was that the Clinton and the DNC colluded with Russians and sleazy Brit. The indictments were intended to shore up the claim concocted by known liars Clapper, Brennan and Comey.
