This is the method of the Left. It’s not unusual at all. Look at the Global Warming/Climate Catastrophe Hoax. That is as prevalent in society today as Flat Earth was in the 15th Century.
All they have to do is repeat something plausible over and over while ridiculing anyone who points out the monstrous flaws in their contention.
