He reached for his book bag and my daughter said, “your not going to be gone long , just leave your bag. You will be coming right back”. As soon as he left the room she grabbed and searched his bag and sure enough their was a 9mm pistol with a list inside. She called the SRO who confiscated bag, arrested student and thanked my daughter.She literally dodged a bullet. Thank God she had the presence of mind to form a plan, work it calmly and confidently, and spare many lives. Brilliant.
Just curious -- I was mugged at gunpoint once and came down with pneumonia immediately from the stress. Did she become ill? Or was it just my older age than she was at the time?
