I wanted to mention a little theory I have about school/mass shootings and gun control.
When these events happen, we see an almost knee-jerk reaction among the Left and media to ban guns of some kind.
Social media pushes uses a LOT of shaming to drive the point home: if you resist calls for banning guns, then you literally killed those kids!
But what the media misses is the almost visceral feeling most people have when these things happen, which is fear/anger—a combination that drives an almost unconscious desire to protect oneself and those they love.
Which means with guns.
So sales of guns actually go up after these mass shootings.
What the Left and media (oh, but I am redundant!) miss is that from their high-security, well-guarded compound’s they don’t live in the same world as the rest of us. For the Jimmy Kimmels and Beyonces out there, we don’t have 24/7/365 ARMED security, you hypocrites!!!
The average person doesn’t want to helplessly hide behind a desk begging not to be shot or helplessly try to bar a door with 20 horrified children behind it with nothing to stop a deranged criminal except a plea.
You can’t change gut-felt truths.

Well stated. Take away the guns, and you have a more defense less society that will create a greater sense of no consequences for criminals and those who do these heinous acts.

A few things to ponder
Michael Needham Heritage Action for America summed it up well AND replied to that Liberal weeny Charles Lane Editorial Writer for The Washington Post. The Constitution's 2nd amendment is there to protect the Majority from the TIRANE of the any type of Dictatorship ( take your pick, Fascist, Nazi, Commy - USSR, China etc.
Secondly these Dictators know well the history of Germany - there ere many guns in the hands of former solders from WWI - the Big one. However on the the first things that Hitler did starting in 1933 was pass laws to outlaw private gun ownership.
In addition the Jews CHOSE not to fight and suffered death anyway. There are other examples from history - The Strong always survive.
Yes every citizen should have an AR-15 (223) for the Wife and a 308 or other larger caliber for the MAN of the House.
