This will be a repeat of the Lisa Murkowski disaster.
The problem is that the GOP wings are on the verge of divorce.
The Democrat candidate for this seat will get 100% of the Democrat votes. If Corker runs as an independent, yes, Blackburn will get a majority of GOP votes, but Corker will get enough to make sure the Democrat wins.

I haven’t read anything about him running as an Ind in the general if he loses the primary, I would doubt it but could be wrong.
Corker did his job 12 years ago when he beat Harold Ford. Good for him. 12 years is enough.

Makes me wish I lived in Tennessee just so I could vote for her.
Oh yeah, I am on her email list and she sends me reports every Friday. I hope she will continue the reports when she is a Senator.
The NRSC has done that over and over again across the country.
If they fail to get a Bush League Republican nominated they kneecap the GOP candidate and help the Democrat win.
In Murkowsky’s case as a sitting Senator of a small population state they were able to use a write in work around.
The TN GOP is infested with the Bush Country Club meterosexual liberals. Blackburn will have a fight because the Bush League Haslam gang would rather a democrat win than a real conservative.
