Thanks for posting - I think that’s important for folks to know. So many of these shooters have said that they heard voices telling them to do stuff. It really warrants some good investigation, IMHO.
And that’s not even an anit psychotic.
When I got out, i saw a shrink and she put me on something called Wellbutrin.
Contacted me THREE times in the first week to quiz me on my mood and thoughts and emotions.
I DID work well to get me through the physical and mental pain of a head injury for a few years as i needed it.
But under REALLY CLOSE supervision and none of this NINETY DAY prescription and see you in three months crap!
ALSO, drug companies have made, what, 100s of billions off of SSRIs?
NOW many scientists are saying it’s not serotonin, or at least JUST serotonin that causes depression, but lack of dopamine too!!!
AND only 1 out of 5 people is helped by AN antidepressant AND 95 percent of severely depressed people get better on their own or with a therapist after five years!
AND only the folks with the WORST signs of depression are helped with these drugs.
Wellbutrin is an SNRI. It affects levels of dopamine which are thought to have dropped after my head injury and those receptors take a while to recover.
In parkinsons patients, they never do.
I was lucky. Head injuries can heal for YEARS, not just the first two like doctors SO WRONGLY say.

But they are VERY DANGEROUS meds and the psych should be on top of new patients AND old ones!
