On February 18, 2018, United States attorney general Jeff Sessions stated that the Department of Justice (DOJ) will investigate whether the process used by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) to obtain warrants under the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) regarding allegations involving Russia and the Donald Trump presidential campaign was proper. The most notorious part of this process involved FISA Court surveillance and search warrants on part-time Trump campaign informal adviser Carter Page. The warrants were based on a dossier written by former British intelligence agent Christopher Steele.

Crimes were committed.
People need to be arrested and prosecuted.
WTF took him so long?
I’m afraid that the FBI is pretty much finished and must be replaced by a new organization, built from the ground up, from a pool of patriots.
Yeah, and the Beatles will come together for their sixty-third year anniversary.
Of course he already knows and has known for some time, this is part of the gradual process being deployed to elevate awareness of the corruption without breaking the economy in the process.
The "investigation" is a stalling tactic.
Prediction : Sessions will not prosecute anyone for it. He’ll change some policies “moving forward.”
Ok, I will continue to hold my cards. But I’m not playing any bets.
That makes no sense, but hey, keep drinking that Q-laid.
The FBI has been caught doing “goon work” for the DNC and Hillary. They chose sides, Comey appointed all his liberal buddies like the hamster McCabe to run the show. They not only white washed Hillary, but made a death pledge among themselves to take down Trump. They wanted to embarrass him and ruin him - why they leaked to the press of what they heard on wiretaps.
The FBI political correctness also allowed dangerous jihadists to kill Americans, Mateen and Hassan to name two.
It will take years to get rid of all Comey’s appointments, and wire brush the FBI leadership to get it shining again.
Obama brought them backwards with the constant politicization and weaponization of the agency to serve the DNC’s political ends.
It is humiliating - they were made goons, the Black Shirts, the Squadristi, running around and persecuting groups that don’t have the same political views of the DNC. They took DNC lies and proffered it as valid intelligence to a FISA judge. It is grotesque.
Let’s see how Comey defends this. Everyday it will get worse.

After his nap he watches Matlock. It took about a year before there was an episode on this very subject.
when he wakes up again he might do something about it, if he is not too busy doing nothing else.
salacious slander based on nothing but pure speculation
shame on you
Agreed. A good number of them are likely not fit for even dog catcher.
Based on the fact that he has not done one thing and he has been in office for a year.
A REAL attorney general would have enough evidence in front of him to throw half of Washington in jail by now.
It'll be like the last 5 minutes of a Godfather movie. DJT cannot go forward unless everyone gets whacked. And then he'll deal with the MSM.
It's like the guy can't even keep his investigations and recusals straight.
Yup. FBI has zero credibility going forward.
Most Americans will no longer speak to an FBI agent out of fear that one day they’ll be charged with a process crime. Juries will begin refusing to convict based on FBI evidence.
They can no longer serve as an effective law enforcement organization. Time to pull the plug.
Sessions will do only what his deep-state masters tell him to do.
This is what I have been saying all along. Sessions has a career history of being effective by not telegraphing his moves.
What has been going on for the past year is building momentum for the public-at-large to gradually learn for themselves the depth of the corruption. Had they opened it up earlier, many would have screamed political foul. Instead, the cry for justice escalates each day.
Prosecutors love cases with jury appeal. And nothing says jury appeal likes millions in stolen $$$ and dead bodies.
