I’m sure the good senator thinks even deployed soldiers and marines should not carry the evil black things.

"Can I have a rifle if it’s painted pink?"

That's probably ok, it's not an evil black rifle. Now that I think about it, are the leftist that hate evil black rifles by definition racists?

Then we should raise the voting age to 21 as well.

You can’t have it both ways, Senator.

They can't legally smoke, drink or purchase a pistol right now.

While we're at it, maybe under-21s should have a parent's permission to enlist in the military.

Or vote.

Fine. Just go buy a mini-14. Wood stock. Don’t look nearly as evil.

If the police have AR-15 type arms, then the citizens must retain that right.

That's the point of the 2nd Amendment.

For military, voting, drinking, driving and parental independence, too, then. F’idiot!

Not that long ago, 16 year-olds snuck into our military to go and fight for America.

You know, if I had to get killed by a rifle it would really suck (like extra suck) if it was a hello kitty rifle...

Does he want to take their right away to buy an inferior version of the M-16 they are carrying?

Yes. The goal is to forbid ANY citizen from personally owning and controlling weapons. The power of deadly force must be a government monopoly.

Isn’t drinking age an issue handled by each state?

Yes, it is, but with federal coercion. Any state that does not have a minimum drinking age of 21 doesn't receive federal highway funds.

Most of the 18-21 year olds today aren’t a fraction as mature as we were at 18 thirty to fourty years ago. If 18 year olds aren’t mature to own a rifle they aren’t old enough to vote, drink, or do other things they should be old enough to do. The handful that join the military are the exception and were probably raised right. The rest need safe spaces, teddy bears, and eat detergent for goodness sakes.

"I’ll be calling since I’m a Kansan."

If you do call him, tell him if the police carry AR-15's (or similar), then the citizens must retain the right to do so as well.

It might be an uncomfortable scenario for some, but it's the reason we have a 2nd Amendment.
