I Thought America Hated Donald Trump
American Thinker.com ^ | February 23, 2018 | Brian C. Joondeph

Watch any cable or network news station or read the newspaper, and you will be told that President Trump is unpopular. That Americans don't like him.

The Washington Post proclaims that "Trump is historically unpopular." Predicting big trouble ahead for Republicans, the Post tells readers, "There's never been a president who was as deeply unpopular for as long as he has been at this stage of his presidency."

Newsweek goes further with its headline: "Trump's 2018 approval ratings show he's the most unpopular president in history and failing at his job."

The Washington Examiner, not a far-left publication but firmly in the NeverTrump camp, asks, "So why is Trump still the most unpopular first-term president?"

You get the point. These articles were all written last month, in the wake of a historic tax cut, with millions of Americans gaining bonuses and a fatter paycheck, plus a stock market hitting record highs despite a recent and necessary correction.

Yet the media smart set is quite certain that America hates President Trump. Why? Opinion polls. You know the names. Quinnipiac, Ipsos, Rasmussen, CNN, Fox News, and others.

Remember these same polls about 15 months ago? The ones that predicted with 95-plus-percent certainty that Hillary Clinton would win the election? Even on election day?

Across the pond, the Independent, three days before the election, gleefully pronounced, "Hillary Clinton has 'more than 99% chance' of winning election over Donald Trump." How did that turn out?

Why should we believe these polls now? Certainly not the wildly inaccurate ones.

As we all know the only poll the only polls that count are those on election day.

Fake news and fake polls reinforce each other. They’re both scripted.

Everybody they know hates him, and so do they. That’s impressive to them.

Since liberal democrats have made everything group think, nobody tells pollsters the truth. The polling industry is done. Liberals live by the poll die by the poll.

Good read. It reminded me of how bad Obama was, and how much the news media ignored his unpopularity - unpopular because of his policies and his constant criticizing of the USA and Christians and - well you know - his dislike for ordinary citizens who were not Democrats.

People’s Pundit Daily, the only pollster I trust (although Ras is somewhat close) has Trump at 52% in FL. That’s up 2 since the election, where he won with just over 49%.

I figure that’s a pretty good barometer nationally, especially since my voter registration statistics have NOT CHANGED ONE IOTA in their trend or direction in 15 months since November 2016:
*FL net +62,000 Rs
*NV net +13,00 Rs
*NM net +11,000 Rs
*AZ net +14,000 Rs
*PA net +84,000 Rs
*IA net +2,000 Rs
*NH net +8,000 Rs

and so on. Only in CO (flat) and CA (about 1m new Ds, likely illegals) is there any serious change in these trends.

Moreover, every one of those states except PA has shown month-by-month consistent shifting to Rs since November 1916 WITHOUT EXCEPTION. (PA was as high as 105,000 net Rs, but now has plateaued after two months at 84,000).

My guess is that Trump is in the mid-50s nationally, and about 320 electoral votes, with NM and NV and ME dead heats.

Something about PA smells foul these days. The polling corruption in the midterms was RAMPANT. I believe we even had a freeper hanging out at a Philly suburb polling place, and watching barely any people walk in or out. Yet that polling place reported 100% turnouts.

And this new redistricting fraud also still has me confused. I don’t know what it is yet - I haven’t put my finger on it - but something smells rotten in Denmark, PA.

In Houston, on the first day of early voting in the primaries on Tuesday, over 14,000 votes were cast. The Houston Chronicle, the Democrat-supporting newspaper, reported that over 7,000 were “in-person votes” at the polling stations. How were the other votes cast? By absentee ballots that were already filled out and returned on the first day? This bears some explanation, which was not given in Wednesday’s on-line edition.

Donald Trump may seem to be rude, crude, and yes, even lewd to some, and richly deserving to be called “SOB” in hushed tones.

He may or may not be a rude, crude, lewd SOB, but I. DO. NOT. CARE. After all, I might be all those things too, and I recognize a kindred soul.

The only way Trump got elected was because the American public is finally wise to the MSM’s leftist lies. Yet the MSM still prints lies in it’s suicidal drive towards extinction.

President Trump will never get credit for the great things he has done and will do. They want him gone at all costs.
I love my President!

The MSM still repeats lies, because they think that once they say something their words become TRUTH. Poor self-delusional dummies. Only God can speak things into existence.

AMERICANS love Donald Trump. Illegal alien fence-jumpers, terrorists, and socialist/communist liberals hate Donald Trump. It isn’t hard to figure out who’s who.

If they wanted to be really accurate, they could do two polls like they did for Bill Clinton:

  1. Do you approve of what the president does in his private life?
  2. Do you approve of the job he is doing as president?

What do you suppose are the chances of that happening?
