A man is dead after he was shot by a homeowner multiple times during an apparent home invasion Thursday afternoon in Schertz, according to authorities.
The man was reportedly shot at 2:13 p.m. in a home in the 4000 block of Brook Hollow Drive, according to Schertz police.
Detectives said the man had forced his way into the home while brandishing a handgun.
Once inside, the homeowner shot the the man several times, investigators said.
The man was taken to Brooke Army Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead shortly after he arrived, police said.
Good guy with a gun stops a bad guy with a gun.
Might even work in a school setting.

What a novel idea! Send that idea to the media, perhaps they would give it some TV/radio air and press time.

And since the homeowner is a “survivor”, the Press will insist that his political positions are immune to criticism. Right?
Have they arrested the homeowner and charged him with murder yet?.....................

I love a story with a happy ending and a great line: Shertz homeowner ruins home invader’s shirts.
I was worried about the headline until I read the story. These days, I would like the homeowner to be allowed to scalp the villain and display it on a flagpole outside his home.
Are those the same police who used to schertz us as we sloshed through the gates at the Creedence, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and ZZ Top concerts years ago?
Was the dead perp, a vet, on active duty or does Brooke have a deal to handle gun shot wounds in that area, to keep up the skills for the Army surgeons, RNs and other ER/OR personnel.
The latter. They also happen to be the nearest trauma center.

Last fall, my wife and I at one of our local stores ran into a young Navy Intern, who happened to be a patient years before in the Family Practice group where my wife worked.
She knew that he had finished Med School and had joined the Navy.
She asked him where he was interning. His answer was LA County. To learn how to handle serious gun shot wounds.
He had a his choice of Cook County in Chicago or LA County.
As a California boy, he opted for the warmer weather site.

That only happens in blue states like Californicator land.
Shot multiple times...will he be charged with “finishing off” the criminal?
