On Tuesday, The Washington Post reported its new ABC News-Washington Post poll on mass shootings on the front page. They asked: “Do you think that mass shootings in this country are more a reflection of problems identifying and treating people with mental health problems, or inadequate gun control laws?" By more than two to one (57 to 28 percent), people picked the mental health issues.
On this shooting in particular, that divide might seem obvious. Actually, that poll finding was nowhere to be found in the Post story. ABC's Jonathan Karl briefly mentioned it as "interesting" on Tuesday's Good Morning America.
Here's where it gets weird: MSNBC host Katy Tur actually put these poll results on screen on Tuesday afternoon, and then also showed the numbers on politicians not doing enough.

I’m leery of the mental health people as well. They’re the ones who put young kids on mind-altering drugs to make them easier to handle in school and at home. Years of these drugs have taken their toll. This needs to be investigated.

Also, it is not quite as serious as the press makes it appear. There are over 100,000 public schools in this country. This is very rare. A draconian solution is not necessary.
Pity these poor sick bastards. They did everything right according to PRE-Trump rules. They had the poll the day after the shooting; they loaded the question but still got skunked by the results. Still in shocked disbelief posted the results because they hadn’t like the true results sink in. They are in for a lot more shocks.

Since there are 3 or 4 million AR15s in private hands and a dozen or so mass shootings with them i can’t be access to the weapon or there would be a lot more.

I normally like to clean it up and say “ignorant” rather than stupid. But sometimes the word “stupid” really does apply.
They need a poll: Which will do more good?
* enforce current laws and add available data to existing background check databases
* create new laws to not enforce along with the current laws that are not enforced
* create and enforce new laws that won’t fix the problem and continue ignoring many of the existing laws
I just love the fact the left call Trump Hitler and then they want him to take away all the guns.
Lack of common sense is a strong trait of the left
They really don’t know just how ironic they sound and how often they are obviously projecting.
I would not have voted for Obama if he was the lilly white son of Pat Boone due to his lack of experience and his political party and positions. But that didn’t stop a guy who said, point blank, that he was voting for obama because he was black, that I am a racist because I’m voting against him.
Projection and irony, and they don’t even see it. They are utterly blind to it.
