Dr. John Lott from the Crime Prevention Research Center and Igor Volsky with the Center for American Progress debated how to stop mass public shootings and the role of gun control. The discussion took place on Laura Ingrahams show.

“European countries such as Belgium, France and the Netherlands have even stricter gun control laws than Australia does, but their mass public shooting rates are at least as high as those in the United States”
Well, I feel better now. After all, only 17 people died. Florida has 21 million people. Over 3,000 people died in traffic accidents but liberals don’t care.
Well, to be fair, all those countries are letting in masses of killer Moslems. Australia is no worse than the US AFAIK with Moslems (not that we’re great, just not as bad as Europe).

Ironic that a Ruskov, who comes from a country which has slaughtered millions of its citizens just after a vast scale gun confiscation (Russian citizens up until the end of the Tsars’ reign were armed), is here babbling about “gun control”. It tells something about the guy’s shrewdness.
Just curious - are school doors open and anyone can come in? I thought that had changed a long time ago.
Our local Catholic grade school is locked, and no one can come in except those who are buzzed in by the office staff.
In the case when it is a student, why not have anyone with a backpack, heavy vest or coat go thru a metal detector?
I confess to not understanding all the idiosyncracies of the subject. Perhaps some freepers can enlighten me?
What’s fun to do is go through the comments section and see how the proggies try to take apart and discredit Lott in some very silly ways. Didn’t I read somewhere that gun control advocates in the United States often refuse to debate him because of the way he’s been able to take apart their arguments time after time?
Thanks for posting this treasure. Will examine more closely later.
