It looks way too much like a fishing expedition. Left or right, citizens should be concerned that someone’s life can be put under a microscope without probable cause that an actual crime was committed. How many of us are so pure that law enforcement couldn’t find something to punish us?
Mueller and his “team” are nothing but high priced thugs with law degrees. They are men (and probably a couple of women) with no honor.
I imagine that’s why many people don’t want to run for any political office. They know the other side will find something in their past.

Which is why all this is making less and less sense to me. We have been made aware of actual crimes committed by Hillary, the DNC, DWS/Awan, and the 0bama regime. Why are these not under investigation and already indicted? If we know of these crimes how is it Jeff Sessions is not? Something is not adding up in all this.

One more example of why so many crooked lawyers and judges can turn the most honest human into a criminal. Laws are designed for the benefit of lawyers and judges.
He is going to use Gates to get Trump
Meuller is doing everything and anything to find “crimes” of Trump associates. Rosenstein is letting him do it.
After finding the “crime”, Mueller will use pressure (plea deals) to flip these defendants so that they make up stuff against Trump.
This is an old corrupt tried and true method used in drug trafficking, and yes, these FBI agents and DOJ types are corrupt to the core.
If they actually do this, these corrupt government officials are guilty of high treason. Hanging them would be too kind.
How would he get Trump by using Gates? Manafort had very little relationship with Trump and Gates even less from what I have read. They have been indicted for something that happened years before the campaign or election (or any ties with Trump).
What is interesting is that Manafort and Gates appear to have been indicted for something that involved Podesta and others far more connected to you know who.
The ongoing Leftist theory is that the not quite relevant charges are leverage to expose the smoking gun that will take down the President.

Yes, but they were never part of the inner circle for Trump and that is the point. They were insiders hired at a time when the Trump campaign felt it needed to bring in some beltway types.

There is no real smoking gun to be found and I am not worried about it. Trump has an inner circle and I never saw indications that either of these two were part of it. Furthermore, there has never been evidence that Trump played dirty politics nor did he have any business relationships with these two that I am aware of....
On the other hand - it looks like they were part of the Ukrainian/Russian lobbying efforts involving the Clinton foundation and donations from Oligarchs on both sides. Outside of Manafort and Gates - it reads like a who’s who of democrat insiders........ So far, everything is coming full circle back to them. I think this might do the same thing.

Manafort and Gates approached “Company A” and “Company B” in 2012 about lobbying on behalf of the Ukrainian government, according to the indictment that was unsealed Monday.
Company A refers to Mercury Public Affairs and Company B refers to the Podesta Group, three sources with knowledge of the investigation told the news outlet.
The Podesta Group and Mercury both did work to benefit a pro-Russia Ukrainian party through Brussels-based nonprofit European Centre for a Modern Ukraine. The Podesta Group earned more than $1.2 million from the client from 2012 through 2014, according to disclosures it filed with the Justice Department.
The companies were not paid by the nonprofit, the indictment says, but by offshore bank accounts run by Gates and Manafort that collectively paid them more than $2 million for their work...
Nice - thanks! Frankly, this is the swamp and if Manafort and Gates were doing illegal stuff they should pay for it after they are given the opportunity to cooperate against the real colluders...................
Frankly, that is outside the scope of the special counsel by a wide margin and it should be further investigated by someone not tainted on either side.
I want Mueller investigated.
