It coming, count on it. Salvador Allende tried the same thing in Chile during the 1970’s, nationalizing most industries and collectivizing its farms. He destroyed the country in less than 3 years and ended up committing suicide when the coup reached his doorstep. I see a similar series of events going on in Venezuela right now.

Prepper Ping - Venezuela Update - "Not eaten meat in two months"

As stated by another poster :" Salvador Allende tried the same thing in Chile during the 1970’s, nationalizing most industries and collectivizing its farms.
He destroyed the country in less than 3 years and ended up committing suicide when the coup reached his doorstep.
I see a similar series of events going on in Venezuela right now."

Meat provides essential proteins and enzymes for full nutrition.
Venezuelans are going without meat due to cost, and their bodies are suffering as a result.
The average Venezuelan has lost a minimum of 20 pounds,or more, and maybe losing even more weight if they have youngsters to feed as well.
One should know how to grow your own garden food for vitamins and minerals, but also learn about meat preservation for energy and proteins.
Adequate Prepper skills should include & familiarize yourself on how to preserve meat: smoking, brineing, salting, canning, sun-dried, freezing (in winter) etc...
P.S. : You learn more from your failures, than from your successes. No time like the present to begin -> in a time of plenty !

H/T Duncan Waring !
