Lost In Space..sounds like what Hollywood is...they are lost in space. What’s next, My Three Sons about two NAMBLA members raising 3 boys...one of whom is transgendered?
EPISODE 1, ACT 1. SCENE 1
JOHN ROBINSON: Dear, are you certain that you never had an affair with another man?
MAUREEN ROBINSON: Why John Robinson, how could you! I’m shocked you would even think of such a thing!
JOHN ROBINSON: Well, it’s just that I can’t help but notice that our daughter Judy is a negress and we’re both as white as the new driven snow!
With the cast change, who’ll do all the science stuff?
Now imagine if a remake of the original Star Trek recast Lt. Uhura as a white man?
Lol. You havent even seen it. How can you straight up lie like that?
(Trivis: The giant carrot is being played by the same actor who played Cyrano Jones in Star Trek's "The Trouble With Tribbles". I suspect he's thinking, "Eh. It's a living.")
On a related note, you KNOW they are going to make sure Black Panther cleans up all possible awards at the next Oscars.
The originals should be available somewhere, the newer version holds no interest for me at all.
I can’t even post the words that came out of my wife’s mouth when I showed her this.
and a female Dr. Smith
Dr Smith on the original show was a lying weasel, backstabbing low-life. Now that it’s cast as a woman, will those traits disappear and make Dr Smith a brilliant, courageous genius?
How many pudding-eating homo cowboys got added?
Original show on tonight/morning 2 AM me tv.
Yeah, but no vulcas or Ewoks?
Some kind of-aphobes!
I think they won't care if they lose money on it so long as it furthers their agenda.
The real question should be why are they remaking “Lost in Space” to begin with?
So the woman is going to be portrayed as a scheming coward? If so then it's perhaps the first time a woman will achieve equality with a man on modern television.
Usually a woman is portrayed as a wise savant or a 90lb ninja who dispatches 6'7" bad guys with a single punch.
A sniveling coward woman - should be interesting.
Oh, who am I kidding, the new Dr. Smith will be a brave and wise latina with kung fu skills. Only white men - especially white men - have vices and foibles.
judy WHO?
I watched all ten episodes the other day...i liked it.
hoping for a season 2
I'd be surprised if that was anything more than a joke. Not a bad one, at that:
TV Show Doctor Who Changes Name to Nurse Who After Realizing There Are No Woman Doctors
________
The original Lost in Space wasn't that good, so if this version is horrible, it's just carrying on in the established tradition.
Plus, this may actually be one remake that is less gay than the original.
