Feinstein Fails to Receive Party’s Endorsement at California Democratic Party Convention
freebeacon ^ | February 25, 2018 | David Rutz

The California Democratic Party did not endorse Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D., Calif.) on Sunday, with just 37 percent of the state's delegates supporting her at the party's convention.

Meanwhile, primary challenger State Senate leader Kevin de León got the support of 54 percent of the delegates, meaning both fell short of the 60 percent needed to secure the party endorsement, The Mercury News reports:

The rebuke of Feinstein by the party delegates comes even though the 25-year incumbent has led polls by wide margins and has received broad support from state party luminaries like Sen. Kamala Harris and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi.

The results were a sign of discomfort among many liberals who believe Feinstein should do more to challenge President Trump — and of de León’s strong connections to the party’s activist left flank. The endorsement contest was a "test of the establishment’s authority and power," de León chief of staff Dan Reeves said before the vote.

Most California voters say they don’t know enough about de León to have an opinion about him. But he had a much more active presence than Feinstein at the convention, working the crowds and hustling between caucus meetings in white sneakers on Friday night.

Despite the rebuke from the party, Feinstein enjoys a large lead in campaign cash and public polling as an incumbent.

De León recently won the endorsement of the powerful Service Employees International Union as he mounts a challenge from the left to Feinstein, who has angered some progressives with her stances on national security and her badly received remark that President Donald Trump deserved "patience."

Trump was crushed in the blue state in the 2016 election, losing to Hillary Clinton by more than four million votes.

Feinstein was first elected to the U.S. Senate in a special election in 1992, and she has since been re-elected to four full consecutive terms. At age 84, she is the oldest person currently serving in the Senate.

You know California is in trouble when Dianne Feinstein is considered to be too conservative. But Feinstein is now 84 years old. So maybe this is a case of discrimination against senior citizens.

The ACLU should investigate.

Always remember that California unfailingly elects the most incompetent, clueless and corrupt individuals.
Now, imagine some more idiotic than Feinstein.
OK, they do have Pelosi, the woman who boinked a rich guy to purchase a senatorship.

The California Democratic Party decided not to endorse in the U.S. Senate contest on Saturday, an embarrassing rebuke of veteran Sen. Dianne Feinstein.

Feinstein, who has represented California in the Senate for a quarter-century, is facing an insurgent bid by fellow Democrat, state Senate leader Kevin de León. Though De León did not get the endorsement, his success in blocking Feinstein from receiving it shows that his calls for generational change and a more aggressively liberal path have resonated with some of the party’s most passionate activists.

She’s not too conservative. She’s too white. California is a minority state now run by Mexicans.

She’s a Rep not a Senator, and tell us who she boinked, because that would be very interesting news, of true.

The Hispanic takeover of California is now spreading to state politics. All the white and black Democrats who hold or are seeking elected office are gonna see why their embrace of illegal immigration is gonna start costing them political power! DeLeon is more dangerous than DiFi. A straight up radical!

It’s their version of the Buckley rule: Support the most liberal electable candidate. In Cali, extreme leftism does not make you unelectable.

ITEM--The Desert Wilderness Protection Act and its companion bill known as the California Desert Protection Act sponsored by Sen Finestein, created three new national parks and seventy- four new wilderness areas in the desert of California that total 8 million acres (an area the size of Maryland). This closes acreage to development, forces out private owners within the protected area and closes mines and ranches. It also expands the Death Valley and Joshua Tree national monuments and upgrades them to national parks.

It seems that the real motivation for passage of Sen Finestein's bill lies with the special interest groups that would benefit monetarily. Through a complex series of land exchanges, Catellus Corporation (Owned by none other than Richard Blum, DiFI's Hubby), a subsidiary of Santa Fe Pacific, will receive land that contains some of the richest gold deposits in the world.

ITEM--Senator’s husband profits for 15 years from federal funds (Feinstein-Blum)
NY Post | 1/19/15 | Richard Johnson / FR Posted by Libloather

My report Sunday on the lucrative deal Sen. Dianne Feinstein’s husband has to sell 56 post office buildings barely scratched the surface of her conflicts of interest. The California Democrat’s financier husband, Richard C. Blum, is estimated to be a billionaire from his shrewd investments in companies that profit from federal policies.

“For at least 15 years, Feinstein has appeared to support government contracts that push federal funds toward companies co-owned or governed by her powerful, billionaire husband, Richard C. Blum,” Breitbart News reported. (Excerpt) Read more at pagesix.com ...

=====================================================

ITEM--Sen Finestein's husband, Richard Blum, became a billionaire representing China's interests.

BACKSTORY: Back in Sept 2014, Senate intel head Di/Fi was whining about the CIA looking through her computers and taking documents. Clearly, the CIA had plenty on her----even BEFORE the shocking Cali state missile scandal broke.

Di/Fi has a known aversion to guns.

A key figure in Cali state legislature, Sen Leland Yee's was charged w/ facilitating a shocking missile deal w/ China (Yee is also a notorious grabber of American guns).

INCONVENIENT FACTOIDS:

<><>Feinstein heads the Senate Intel Committee;

<><> Her hubby Richard Blum made million as the lawyer for Chinese interests.
