In what may be a pivotal moment for American gun law reform, the National Rifle Association has become the object of intense pushback from anti-gun activists and survivors of last weeks mass shooting at a Florida high school that left 17 dead.
All the attention prompted the gun-rights group to break from its usual strategy of keeping quiet after mass gun deaths. NRA officials have gone on the attack to rail against the politicization of a tragedy, and going so far as to suggest that members of the media love mass shootings because of the ratings they supposedly bring.
The uproar has once again presented companies affiliated with the NRA, and its powerful pro-gun lobby, with a question: to cut ties, or to continue a relationship with a large but controversial group?

Never joined the NRA till today just because the commies say I shouldn’t. I’ll be shopping for an AR this week before the prices go up. The idiots at these companies no longer offering their pitiful discounts only to NRA members bothers me about as much as the AARP discounts I don’t use.
Google.
Their NRA-ILA app is still available for free from their Google Play Store.
Even though I am not an NRA member and am unlikely to ever join, I think I should write the companies who have announced they will no longer give NRA discounts or issue NRA credit cards. I will inform them that I will no longer do business with them because they do not stand up for the Constitution and citizens’ rights. Conversely, I should write the companies that are continuing the NRA discounts and tell them I plan to do business with them in the future because they still support the Constitution.
So now pro-2A content will be banned from Youtube. Next they'll come for pro-life. Then Christians. Then pro-Trump. Then pro-Constitution in general...
And they're capable of doing this because they have abused the domain process and control way too much of the Internet infrastructure.
Can you please post the list of these companies, that are still supporting NRA...so we don’t have to click on that nasty yahoo link?
TIA.
I can see why.
Because law-abiding gun owners are murderers?!
No, because they want to shut down the message of the Gospel, genocide all Christians, rule the world with an iron fist, worship the Anti-Christ, and make a profit.
Meanwhile, the (m)ass media have gone so far as to suggest that the NRA, which has always stood for responsible gun ownership, somehow has blood on its hands because some lunatic went berserk in a Florida school.
Youtube - and other leftist media - thing, now is that people are bullying. As in bullying the actors, er, students who are now on the full-time talk show circuit (the little Camera Hogg punk, for example).
That’s their first line of attack. Next will be all of the 2A content, and so on, per your post.
I did see where some group is trying to get signatures (on a petition) asking Congress to stop this biased discrimination/aka banning, against Constitution supporting folks, by youtube, Twitter, Google, etc.
We’ll see if it gets any traction.
Self ping..
Yahoo is still in business? I refuse to prop them up with a click. What are the companies?
“Ill be shopping for an AR this week before the prices go up. “
Check out Rock River Arms! Here’s their daily special: https://www.rockriverarms.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=category.display&category_id=753
And if you want an unregistered rifle, buy one of their kits and an 80% lower and you can build yourself a “personal firearm” under the Federal Firearms Act of 1968.

Lifetime NRA member. Yes, will give thought to alternative than show at a company that dropped NRA. And, yes, will shop at companies that support. Passing thought is whether I should offer NRA discount at my own company. Not meaningful beyond statement, we already give discount to veterans.
I think the NRA, which I joined yesterday, should be looking at a RICO or similar lawsuit.

What bull shit. As we they have ever missed an opportunity to start screaming every time there is one of these. I despise Yahoo. If you use Yahoo as your e-mail switch. Its a big hassle but worth it. You can avoid the Rat splash page every time you check your email.
I just joined as did a few friends and relatives last night.
I joined today also. Got to have some expression of distaste for the vile Left and Sheriff Cowardly.
