The Executive branch appears to have just avoided a criminal coup. It continues to struggle with the Herculean task of righting the nation with well-meaning but relatively inexperienced political aides, and very few reliable political supporters/leaders in the Legislature.
Those who raise alarms are uniformly labeled by the left as "conspiracy theorists" with hair on fire.
However, some of us with an abundance of critical real-life experience have seen how quickly "acceptable circumstances" can turn fatal.
Americans have been on "slow boil" by the Communists since the 1920s. The media and academia have been coopted for as long as I can remember, and I'm old.
The long knives, wielded by both parties, have been out for Trump since before the election. With the 24/7 opiate of TV, social media, iPhones, pornography and other compliant bread and circuses, the masses have been lulled into inaction. I doubt the Republic will survive. But I never give up hope.
