Broward County Sheriff Scott Israel vehemently denied to National Rifle Association spokesperson Dana Loesch on Wednesday during CNN's Town Hall on the tragic shootings at Stoneman Douglas High School that police were called to the home of the shooter, Nikolas Cruz, thirty-nine times. He claimed that it was reported inaccurately. How, he didn't say.
The following video of his denial reveals the extent of the sheriff's anger on that topic. As we shall see, his denial of those many visits to the Cruz house comes off as petulantly ridiculous because it had been widely reported on, including by CNN.

Unfortunately not much will come of this...they will get the pensions, the insurance company will make a few payments, taxpayers will eat it and a year from now it will be the families and gun owners still dealing with it..
Supreme Court Ruled Police have no requirement for individual..... Justices Ruled Police Do Not Have a Constitutional Duty to Protect Someone. Settled law unfortunately. Add in this was government property, not private property, thus you the individual and taxpayer have less than zero rights.
Ironic the 2nd Amendment was written to protect the individual which the Supreme Court explains in the above rulings yet we have Government telling us more Government is the answer to a complete government failure while restricting the 2nd Amendment is good and necessary... failures locally like this to 9/11... Government failures, citizens die and financially pay for it and the answers is take more rights away and add more Government Employees to solve it!!!! Ha!
Time to reduce the size of Government across the board... repeal the 16th Amendment and 17th Amendment... Government will go a serious reduction and the economy will grow. States will have to decide how big a Government they want, not the Federal Government.
Many Government employees such as this Sheriff will have to compete in the market economy...
This douche nozzle of a Sheriff is not fit to run a fork lift on a loading dock, yet he will retire better than most tax payers. Time to get Government out of the economy so people like this Sheriff are properly employed and have no responsibility for the rights and protection of others and have to earn their way through life and not hide behind a badge and some mythical protect and Serve union funded line of horsesh*t.
I thought it was 39 reports, not 39 actual visits to the house.
In Israel’s mind Nik Cruz doesn’t own a house so not once did the officers go to “his” house.
The lyin’ “lion” has a thorn in his paw and I think it will start to fester...
This Sheriff is a huge carbuncle on L/E.....a mealy mouthed excuse for a human being. A HUGE flop.

Live by CNN, die by CNN.
The NRA, and especially Dana Loesch, are not wrong here.
“Our” Dana regularly schools the fools and charlatans that pose as news anchors, and she even faces up to some hostile crowds with aplomb, if not necessarily diplomacy.
39 visits, not just reports.
“I didn’t tell nothing to nobody...”
yeah, basically the truth is this: sometimes they didn’t even care enough to go out there. they just talked to people on the phone.
makes the Coward County Sheriff look worse imo.
And the way he spoke to Dana Loesch with that lynch crowd on CNN was pathetic. gun grabbing liberal law enforcement.
Generally, if you had to respond to a 9-11 call, and someone can correct if I’m wrong...but you have to fill out some kind of report at the conclusion of the day.
It would be interesting to read the 39 reports, but they are probably a six-line text and mostly say that a social worker arrived and calmed the kid down.
In my mind, the mother and the cops just kept letting the kid go, and advance his agenda. Years ago, I remember some 60 Minutes piece (mid-1970s) interviewing some mother in Florida. Her daughter kept running off...leaving for four to eight weeks at a time, around age 14. Mother tried to get cops or social services to do something, and nothing could occur. So when the daughter disappeared the next time...the mother moved out of the house...to some location 40 miles away...refusing to divulge to the neighbors or anyone where she moved. She gave up on the kid, and this was the only way, just to give up on handling her anymore.
Maybe it’s just 23 for the home alone, and the rest are at the school?
They keep talking about his behavior at the school and fights. Seems like that would have required some cop to be called as well.
In newspeak he is correct. It was 43 times. The Clintons redefined weasel words. Sid Blumenthal head weasel gives classes to progressive staffers on how to lie and deceive, when you should and can, and when to shut up if there are legal concerns identified.
CNN...just throwing people under the bus left and right without a care.
Who is next?
He’s getting (justifiably) cruz-ified there!
