I really don't see how his approval would have gone *down* even if the numbers did not go up - he has had a few good weeks in a row since the SOTU and people's paychecks are getting larger from not only tax cuts but wage increases.

And a few days ago one polling service said he was at 50%!

With 24/7 Trump bashing it’s no surprise to me.

Rasmussen had him at 50% just two days ago, and I’ll take their word over CNN’s any day of the week. Their 2016 national presidential polls were certainly better than CNN’s.

Fake polls.

As expected, the point is to shape public opinion, not to reflect it.

We shall see.

People are still reluctant to admit they like what Trump is doing. That is a significant factor.

If good paying jobs in the rust belts states are seen to have come back and making a significant difference in people’s lives, Trump will win a second term.

As James Carville said, Its the economy stupid.

The media is on a full court press, unlike anything that we have ever seen on this issue. They decided as soon as this happened, that THIS was going to be the time to pull out all the stops. They decided that they were going to push gun control in every story, 24/7, on every news outlet, in every newspaper, on every network. The AssPress and CNN have marketing agreements with virtually every news outlet in the country. That means, it doesn’t matter if your local TV station or Newspaper might be in a Conservative area, or even have Conservative view points, The AssPress is going to push their stories to the news station/newspaper website.

Many other organizations have similar agreements with CNN.

Twitter, Facebook, Yahoo and Google are coordinating with the Press and manipulating search terms, “trending” stories and news so that you see exactly what they want you to see.

The media doesn’t care about facts, they don’t care about the truth, and they think they can pull the same trick that they did on the redefinition of marriage to accomplish their agenda here.

Remember, in 2004, Protection of Marriage Amendments won across the country. In 2008, KALIFORNIA voted for a Protection of Marriage Amendment.

The media decided that after the Kalifornia loss, they were going to shift public opinion. They then went on a full court press, and they pumped story after story after story into the marketplace to ensure that only one side of the debate was heard.

It wasn’t long after that that Marriage Amendments started losing and the redefinition of marriage started in the more liberal States.

Now, we are at a place where people are getting fined and their businesses shut down because they don’t toe the line.

Until we get a true alternative to the AssPress and the other Mainstream outlets, the left is going to continue to have far more influence over culture than their numbers would allow otherwise.

They have corporations, the entire media industry, Hollywood, TV, and most of the internet on their side.

Conservatives don’t like to get into the trenches and fight for all they are worth and we continually react, react, react while the left is pushing, pushing, pushing.

I wish I had an answer to what we can do. Short of separation, I don’t think there is a great answer.

I really don't see how his approval would have gone *down* even if the numbers did not go up...

The nation is basically 40% Rat,40% GOP and 20% squishy "Moderates".It's the 20% who the Rats have been aiming at during this latest 2nd Amendment jihad and, just as they were in "Moore is a rapist",they seem to have been successful here...so far,at least.

his rating will go down a lot if he continues his hints about imposing more (instead of repealing) “gun control”

and his ratings will go down a lot if he follows up on Ms. Haley’s recent comment about a “Trump peace plan”...(unless he bites the bullet and moves the Fakestinians back to their own Muslim countries.. which I doubt he will actually have the courage to do)

and along that line, his ratings will go down a lot if he doesn’t reassign Greenblatt and Kushner away from the middle east... Enough mucking around is enough, already!!

and his ratings will go down a lot if he continues to support Romney for US Senate (I don’t care if he doesn’t have anyone better he can help get elected, Romney proved himself to be as bad as another McShame, a backstabber par excellence....we do NOT need him in the Senate, for goodness’ sakes!)

but in general, DJT has much stronger approval out here than the 50 percent polls would indicate. Most D’s don’t like him, true, but think he is doing a pretty good job nonetheless

I’ll believe these polls more when they discuss President Hillary’s popular support these days.

So is Trump not president today? Or is it that you have nothing pertinent or important to say?

Like the rest of the liberals all you have left is irrational impertinent BS or huge lies, always based on unnamed sources, to share about Trump.

Trump is still president no matter how many polls that are statistically set up by the left and represent nothing but manipulated lies that you claim as gods own words.

You do realize that a lot is actually happening in the real world, don’t you?
