The court ruled essentially that they would allow the Trump appeal to be refiled after it goes through the normal appeal process, that being going to the 9th Circuit first.
Of course the 9th will uphold the Circuit Judge, and then it’s on to SCOTUS.

This is procedure, not substance. The Supreme Court has not made any final decision. As the article says, the Supreme Court decided NOT to jump the queue and pull the matter out of the hands of the Ninth Circuit before the Ninth Circuit gets a chance to deal with it.
Ninety percent of the headlines that report on legal procedings involving Trump that blare out “Trump Lost!!!” or “Trump Won!!!” are just way stations on a long road to a final decision.

Well legally a judge cannot force a President to continue an EO from a former President but they do it anyway. Trump should ignore this judge’s order.
The SCOTUS seldom agrees to take up a case that has not gone gone before the lower appellate court. So now the DOJ will have to slog it through the 9th and then back to the Supremes.
They said take it to the appeals court process first is all.
Funny how that works. An EO can create but an EO cannot end.
