My understanding is that Chicago is a gun free zone. How dare those thugs use guns against unarmed civilians. Unarmed civilians are expected to wait patiently for law enforcement to come.
The same law enforcement officers that are call names, spit on, and called racists daily. The same law enforcement officer who are never expected to defend themselves, or use deadly force.
It might be a gun free zone, but not for the criminals. Look how many blacks get killed with guns by other blacks. Also remember who the mayor is.
