I bought a brisket a few weeks ago and aged it in my fridge and then smoked and cooked it. I age it until the expiration date and then one week more. It really does improve the flavor. It is just me and wife so I can not eat it all so I slice it up and put half in the freezer and ate the rest at home and with my shooting partner next door. I still have a little bit in the freezer. It also makes great burritos.
I don’t know about TheMom, but I vote brisket. You make the best brisket in the world! :)
Brisket can’t be beat. But I’m not gonna turn down steak or shrimp either.
You mentioned brisket in burritos, I’m up for making a big bowl of pico if somebody wants to bring tortillas if folks want to do brisket tacos. Might be less messy in a tortilla while sittin in our lawn chairs. Or maybe I’m just a slob spilling my plate all over my lap. Of course with it in a tortilla you’ll still see me be a slob with juice running down my arm.
